As you come off the ferry, The Island Gateway welcomes you with the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, Kids Discovery Museum, retail shops and offices.  With the brilliant splashes of orange from Avalara, beautiful indigenous gardens, and nationally recognized sustainable building design made to compliment the surrounding environment, the project invites you to come shop, eat and play.

The Island Gateway features the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA) where you can find world class art and the work of many local artists.  Their Bistro provides a relaxing place to grab a bite to eat inside or out on the plaza.  For the children and kids at heart there is the interactive Kids Discovery Museum (KiDiMu) that will keep the entire family entertained.

The Island Gateway boasts ample office and studio space for clients such as Avalara and Gilbert Thomes Jewelry featuring unique designs and precious gems. The Alehouse on Winslow is a refreshing stopping place for beer, wine, and cider lovers. The Eagle Harbor Market EVENT CENTER is available for private parties or as a piece of larger, complex-wide event.

Whether you live on the Kitsap Peninsula or are just visiting, no trip to Bainbridge Island is complete without a stop at the Island Gateway for a bit of fun and relaxation.
