Bainbridge Island Museum of Art

Art on Bainbridge

Ten years ago a group of artists, as well as business and community leaders envisioned creating a contemporary art museum on Bainbridge Island. In June of 2013 that vision became a reality and The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art was born. The museum is a collecting museum that focuses on artists and collections from the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas and the broader Puget Sound region. The artists featured in the museum range from up-and-coming and lesser known artists to recognized masters. The exhibitions rotate consistently with the seasons which amounts to 12-16 shows per year.
